AUSSIEDOODLES

The Aussiedoodle is a mix between an Australian Shepherd and a Standard or Mini Poodle. Aussiedoodles are a very intelligent, lovable, and a very energetic and outgoing breed that require lots of love and attention. Aussiedoodles require exercise and training to prevent them from becoming bored and destructive. They will do well in any living situation if their needs are met. They absolutely love going on walks and playtime. Most Aussiedoodles enjoy going on hikes, adventures, throwing the ball, water and anything FUN. Aussiedoodles have a fairly high energy level and are best for those who live an active lifestyle and or have children to run and play with them!! COAT

Aussiedoodles can have a straight, wavy, or curly coat depending on the generation and genetics. Most Aussiedoodles tend to have minimal shedding if any at all meaning they are hypoallergenic.

 

The Aussiedoodle coat will require brushing when grown out. We recommend frequent brushing and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to prevent them from matting and damaging their coat.

Aussiedoodles come in many beautiful colors. Here at Cedar Wood Farms we mainly like to focus on our blue Merle phantoms, red Merle phantoms and tris/phantom abstracts. All of our Aussiedoodle tails are left natural. Please see our DOODLE COLORS page for more info on different colors.

SIZE

 

Our F1 and F1B Aussiedoodles typically range from 14-17 inches at the shoulders and weigh between 15-30 pounds. And our medium/Standard aussiedoodles are usually around 35-50lbs full grown.
